HISTORY:

Born in a rural village named Lilac Grove to Peter and Vedalia Xenica, June was their second child, being born 3 years after her older brother August. June's first 10 years of life were enjoyable, full of love, and simple. Vedalia loved nature and planted a garden of flowers and vegetables for her family when the season right. June and August often helped in their mother's garden when their father, Peter, was away doing jobs with the Fairy Tail guild to support his family. However, his trips never took long, and he always made it a point to come back with gifts for his kids. After June turned 11, her mother became ill, and after a long battle, succumbed to her sickness and passed away. Peter was distraught that he had lost the love of his life, but decided to retire from Fairy Tail to continue raising June and August. 

Six years after the death of her mother, June's father opened a flower shop to pay the bills, and her older brother August became an apprentice under the village's Apothecary. June had taken it upon herself to begin traveling outside of the village and became infatuated with Magic and the thought of joining a guild.  June's village was raided by a group of bandits, and she was taken away from her family. Her kidnappers, who were members of Twilight Ogre, forced her to join their guild and erased the memories of her family using a spell. June transformed into a troublemaker and a bully, often partaking in Twilight Ogre's antics because she didn't know any better. This went on for years until June sustained a head injury during a job (she always attributes her current forgetfulness to this moment). Her memories, while spotty and muddled, began coming back to her. She began to question herself, and her involvement with Twilight Ogre. The return of Fairy Tail, and their ensuing beating by Makarov, Erza Scarlet, and Mirajane, spurred her to remember the fact that her father had originally been a Fairy Tail mage. June subsequently left Twilight Ogre and joined Fairy Tail after speaking with Makarov. 

Thanks to the help of Mest Gryder, June has since regained her memory, became a happier and more carefree person, and has forgiven herself of her past sins while being a part of Twilight Ogre. June has also reconnected with her father and older brother August and frequents the Sabertooth guild hall to grow closer to her cousin Orga Nanagear. 


MAGIC:

* Requip: The Entomologist - A specialized form of Requip Magic that allows the user to summon outfits, armor, and weapons that are inspired by insects and arachnids. This unique style was developed by June herself and has been the only mage to employ such a technique to Requip Magic. While each outfit usually comes with a weapon as a set, June has shown of being capable of requipping items from other armor or outfit sets to suit any of her needs in a fight. This ability grants her a wide range of versatility on the battlefield.

MISCELLANEOUS: 
* She's a vegetarian due to the fact that she doesn't like how meat tastes and claims it makes her feel sick. 
* She's cousins with Sabertooth's Orga Nanagear (on her mother's side). 
* She has an enormous appetite, even being able to out-eat the likes of Natsu. 
* For some reason, she's great friends with Nab Lasaro - she motivates him to actually take jobs with her. Begrudgingly, he accepts. 
* Her team's name comes from a spider of Sioux Native American mythology, Iktomi. 
* A skilled fighter despite her eccentricities, June has climbed the ranks in her guild and continues to get stronger. 
* June claims that fireflies and walking sticks are her favorite insects.
* Her favorite color is green.
* Her favorite fruits are honeydew and kiwi.
* Due to the fact that she's been drawing since she was young, June is capable of creating very detailed drawings. However, she exclusively sketches creepy crawlies only. (Her room is covered in bug sketches). 
* Has over 20 pet insects and spiders (and each has a name) which are kept in separate terrariums in her home. She refers to them as her "babies." The most notable ones are a giant female tarantula named "Mrs. Fangs," a giant walking stick bug named "Woodsworth," and a pink flower mantis named "Petunia."
* June is afraid of crunching sounds. She claims that they make her "feel jittery on the inside." (This fear probably explains why she hates eating chips).
